My long awaited dream to do RF on the pacy Mathura-Kota route was finally fulfilled.
This section is one of the best routes on the Indian Railways sector,ie. here most of the trains maintain MPS for a long time,and it's no surprise why the trains like Mumbai Rajdhani,Pune Duronto,TVC Rajdhani have an avg. speed of more than 100kmph.
Now the most memorizing action of the day was provided by the India's most aggressive Rajdhani ie. the one and only deputy king of WR,12954 August Kranti Rajdhani.
Surely the Deputy King was on full fire....led by the mighty GZB's WAP-5#30012 (Navjagaran),the Deputy King announced it's arrival with full horn blaring and rattled past the brightly lit Shri Mahabirji station at full MPS speed of 130kmph.
But judging by the way the LP's were blasting it appeared to me that they were no mood to content themselves at 130km/hr as they kept the accelerator ticking even after clearing the station at full notch.
