Built 1942 as a C-53 with the US Military serial 42-6480. Later converted to an XC-53A.

'14089 Constructed as a C-47B-1-DK by Douglas at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA.

' 292847 Douglas C-47A Skytrain: One of the most famous Daks of all. The aircraft entered service with the US Army Air Force in March 1944 as 42-92847 and was the lead aircraft in the D-Day invasion. The aircraft took part in many missions in the liberation of Europe until its return to the USA in August 1945. It later became NC88874/N88874 for many different owners.
