It was such a well-known landmark that, the surrounding area was known as

Majestic and the Present-day Kempegowda bus station was popular as Majestic Bus stand.

Near to the Kemprgowda circle was another splendid theatre called Select Picture palace. It was a Palace.

Gubi Veeranna was a household name in The entire state of Karnataka not only for experimenting in the drama stage, even in the film domain too.

Another cinema theatre that has an equally interesting tale is Shivaji theatre. A landmark establishment on Jayaychamarajendra road.
