Saving India's Beaches

Indian beaches are among the most polluted in the world. The garbage that litters the beaches gets into the ocean and spreads to the coastlines of different countries, and also has a detrimental effect on marine life, which certainly affects the lives of people. We have teamed up with Liquid Mining and Vrikshit Foundation to organize an effort to clean Mumbai's dirtiest beach, Mahim Beach.

After months of hard work, we have finally completed the massive cleanup of Mahim Beach in Mumbai. In collaboration with the Vrikshit Foundation and with the support of Liquid Mining, we collected tons of garbage by cleaning the beach area.

Volunteers from across the city worked hard to restore the beach to its former glory. They removed plastic, glass, paper, construction debris and a variety of other trash.

Now Mahim Beach is once again a beautiful place for recreation and entertainment. You can swim, sunbathe, play beach volleyball and just enjoy the beauty of nature
