Hi Friends! This video is all about the questions to ask when you call your medical insurance company to find out about coverage (or lack thereof) for TMJ(D) treatment. Often times, TMJ treatment is NOT a covered benefit. In this video, I do my best to guide you with specific questions to ask your medical insurance company to see if you MAY receive some coverage for treatment at my TMJD only practice.
If you're unfamiliar with TMJ Disorders, common signs and symptoms include but are not limited to: headaches, neck pain, jaw pain, ear-related concerns, shoulder pain, specific tooth pain, jaw joint noises, and/or episodes of the jaw locking or catching.
