Miami Vice was a classic show from 1984. The main protagonist was Sonny Crockett. In the first part of the show the character drove a 1972 Ferrari Daytona Spyder 365 GT/4. What many didn't know was the car wasn't a Ferrari. It was a replica. Ferrari wouldn't approve of using a real car so they had to find another source. A buyer sourced two replicas for the show at the cost of $49,000 a piece.
