Bursa Malaysia's 30-stock key index closed in the red dragged by financial services and utilities heavyweights.

FBM KLCI dropped 0.57 per cent or nine points to 1,632.

It is expected to trade between 1,630 and 1,640 for the week.

The ringgit was flat against the dollar at 4.3470.

In the crypto market, Bitcoin slightly dropped to RM290,403.

Ethereum traded at RM10,965 and Solana stood at RM746.
