From the 4th annual Boston Book Festival a panel entitled, "Future of Reading" featuring Robert Darnton, director of the Harvard University Library, Nicholas Negroponte, founder and chairman of One Laptop per Child and former director and co-founder of the MIT Media Lab, Cheryl Cramer Toto, senior vice president of digital strategy for Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, Maryanne Wolf, director of the Center for Reading and Language Research at Tufts University and author of Proust and the Squid: The Story and Science of the Reading Brain, and Baratunde Thurston, former director of digital for The Onion and author of How to Be Black. The panel is moderated by Sep Kamvar, director of the Social Computing Group at the MIT Media Lab.
