Lumpiang Shanghai are typical and most popular spring rolls in the Philippines. I love this chicken version and I make it a lot. It's fresh and cheap and I can adjust the taste depending on how I like it. Besides, there isn't any place/restaurant here in Germany where they serve this delicious treat! Best served with a homemade lumpia sauce 😏. Enjoy!
LUMPIANG SHANGHAI (CHICKEN) INGREDIENTS
► 600 g of ground chicken
► 2 large onions
► 1 large carrot
► 2 stalks of celery
► 1 Tbsp. of salt
► Black pepper to taste
► 1 egg yolk
► Spring roll wrappers (size depends on you)
