How Fluent Are the Filipinos in English is a question I'm frequently asked. The answer is unfortunately not so great. As mentioned in the video, I hold Filipino students and teacher in high regards, but the inability of being able to separate the local language (Tafalog) from the English renders the value (commercial) value of both to nothing. Meaning that as a skill to make income commercial it's almost useless. Other business people or indeed customers don't have the patience to stand and try to work out what you are saying.
