I recently became a NBCT with a World Language certificate. In my initial attempts to find more information on the process, I could not find much other than a couple blog posts. I wanted to provide my insight (although a bit negative at times) and resources on the NBCT process and what strategies/ideas I used throughout my process.

In addition, I strongly recommend you start a BIG binder with the print outs of all of the instructions from NBCT as well as each components' rubrics (USE THEIR WORDS/VERBAGE) plus the standards. Highlight things in the standards that you do NOT yet do and make a point to implement that in your teaching.
