Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim today said he was not consulted about giant outdoor billboards featuring him, which have been spotted at several locations across the country.
Anwar said the Madani government billboards were erected by a federal department using an allocation that had been approved under the previous administration.
He told reporters on the sidelines of the Malaysia Madani Aidilfitri Open House with the Prime Minister at Raia Hotel and Convention Center here today.
Anwar added that the instruction is in line with the policy set by the Madani government. Government funds should not be used for giant billboards.
