Join Dennis Bunnik, Bunnik Tours’ joint-CEO as he embarks the last leg of the three-country journey; Azerbaijan, Georgia and finally, Armenia!
Come along for the ride as we explore the breathtaking beauty of Armenia, a land locked country nestled in the Transcaucasia region. Situated on the very western edge of Asia, Armenia holds a unique position in Eastern Europe, both culturally and geopolitically.
During this final chapter of the adventure, Dennis and the group savour mouthwatering delicacies from the local markets, indulge during the vodka, cheese and wine tasting, and partake in a masterclass cooking lesson featuring fish caught from Lake Sevan – Armenia’s largest lake.
The exploration of Armenia’s rich history includes a visit the Christian Apostolic Church, the Matenadaran Museum, the Khor Virap Monastery - which once served as a royal prison, and the Areni Cave Complex, where recent archaeological discoveries are rewriting history!
Not to be missed are some of the other highlights of wondering through the capital city, Yerevan, marvelling at the street art and sculptures and witness a traditional Khachkar carving demonstration, and listening to the hauntingly beautiful singing performance at the monastery in Geghard.
