Welcome to the pre – Angkorian brick fire building of the second half of 7th century or 8th century. One of the famous temples found the beautiful god Hari – Hara statues inside of Prasat Andet temple.
Now, it can be available for a visit in Cambodia National Museum at Phnom Penh city.
Andet temple which means Floating temple. Local people saw a huge temple moat with water on a small hill and then they pronounced Prasat Andet temple.
We reached the temple in the afternoon from west entrance. It is very beautiful colors of brick fire tower.
Temple was built by king Jayavarman I to dedicate to the Hindu god Harihara. The main entrance to the temple: East entrance. Let us go to the east.
East entrance to the temple with beautiful decoration on the pilasters that left behind since the 8th century.
A huge pedestal in the middle of temple that was installed the Harihara statue but now, local people placed other flowers on the pedestal.
