Enjoy the breathtaking view of Sunrise from Chandrashila Peak is a lifetime achievement. Chandrashila is just 1 km. ahead from Tunganath Temple (the world highest temple of Lord Shiva). Generally it will take 1 to 1.5 hours time to trek depending upon the physical fitness. Altitude of Chandrashila Peak is around 4000 m. Trek route is very stiff and having 40 - 45 degree gradient. This make the small trek as hard. But if you can reach to the summit point then you can feel the heavenly beauty of Chandrashila. To enjoy the beauty of Sunrise you have to start around 3:30 to 3:45 am from Tunganath.
