A man was fatally shot near Public Square after an "altercation" involving two other people early Saturday morning, Cleveland police confirmed to 3News.
According to a police spokesperson, officers, EMS and fire personnel responded to 230 Euclid Ave. at around 2 a.m. The 25-year-old man, who has not been identified, was immediately found with gunshot wounds and taken to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
A 17-year-old male and an 18-year-old man were arrested but have not been charged as of 1 p.m. Police said an investigation is ongoing to determine whether charges will be filed.
