a little disclaimer here: i am not a professional artist or a painter. thus, any information provided in this video may not be accurate but you are welcomed to discuss and share your experiences in the comments section:)

through many research on different platforms, it really opens up a new window regarding paints, colours and its theory. i had fun diving deep into understanding the them before deciding the colours for a limited palette. indeed, i had a hard time deciding because only 12 will get chosen out of so many.

m.graham, daniel smith and sennelier's watercolour paints are more to the expensive side, while w&n cotman's are to the cheaper and affordable side. holbein's watercolour paints are somewhere in-between, depending on its series. if you're on a budget like me, you may mix between expensive ones and the cheaper ones and that's totally fine. nevertheless, each brands are made with different mediums and perform differently on papers. it is really up to the user's choice to select the right, suitable and useful colours for building the best personal palette! good luck in building your own✨

fun fact about this video is that the original footage was exactly a year ago and yes, i finally edited them out after so long uwu. i changed my style of editing a bit, added more details to each scenes and gosh, that really took me a long time! but i was really happy for the outcome:)
