Since 1999, Doug and Katy Kern have operated Bradwood Farm on 130 acres in Nova, Ohio. Bradwood Farm offers fresh produce in their hydroponic greenhouse, beef cattle and other livestock, maple syrup and hops. Greenhouse crops include leafy greens, tomatoes, cucumbers and a number of specialty items including dandelion greens and a variety of herbs. These items are sold at farmers markets and as part of a local CSA program.
The Kerns began their hydroponic journey after attending a CropKing Grower Workshop, which led to purchasing a CropKing greenhouse complete with NFT and Bato bucket systems. CropKing proudly supports Bradwood Farm with technical support, supplies and other assistance.
