Smart Process Gating is an innovative technology for securing access on conveyor lines. The process control is carried out here in connection with the system control. A control signal provided by the PLC and the interruption of the protective field are used as triggers for the bridging for material transport. Additional sensors are not required. This enables a particularly space-saving system design with increased reliability and security against manipulation.
