Definitely one of my more epic hikes! The weather turned quickly and I was hit with 4 days of continuous rain that flooded the creeks and rivers and left me and 4 other hikers stranded at a backcountry hut in the Aspiring Range of New Zealand. Eventually the rain turned to snow and I had to hike out over a alpine pass through the storm.
