👋 Hello guys This YouTube video is about creating a modern-looking toggle menu in Tkinter which allows users to switch multiple pages in a Tkinter window. The video is divided into two parts, and this is the first part.
The video starts with the basic code of Tkinter, which creates a basic Tkinter window. Then, the menu bar is created, which is a frame that is resized and set to the background color. The menu bar is packed in the root window and set to the left side. The menu bar frame width is set to make it a side menu bar shape.
Next, the pages icons are added to the menu bar frame. These icons are images that are displayed as pages option buttons. The toggle menu button is created first, followed by the homepage button, service page button, and other pages option buttons.
The indicator for these pages options is then created. These indicators are labels that are placed with each page option button. Each page option button will have a separate indicator label. These indicators are labels that are resized in a small vertical line shape.
The functionality to show and hide these indicators by clicking these pages options buttons is then created. When a page option button is clicked, only the clicked page option indicator label will show, and other indicators will be hidden.
Finally, the switch indication function is added to these pages option buttons as buttons commands. This function shows the clicked page option indicator label when a page option button is clicked.
