Australian construction companies are failing at almost double the pace of last year.
New data from the National Housing Finance and Investment Corporation reveals Australia will build 100,000 fewer homes than needed in order to keep up with demand over the next five years.
Immigration and a downturn in the building sector are said to outpace new supply for several years with an extra 650,000 migrants set to arrive across this financial year and the next.
