I found myself at a cozy teahouse right by the Tehran Bazaar, where they served traditional Iranian tea and hookah. The aroma of freshly brewed tea filled the air, while street vendors grilled skewers of sheep liver and testicles to sell later in the evening. It was a real men’s spot, bustling with local merchants chatting about business and playing chess and backgammon. The atmosphere was lively, with laughter and friendly banter echoing around. Sipping on my tea and enjoying the scene, I felt like I was truly soaking in the heart of Persian culture. What a vibe!
