Grated Carrot Sabzi / Curry | Simple & Healthy | by SueNil
Well, not all people know that we can make very tasty, healthy and easy to make curry or subzi from Carrots. It tastes great with Indian Chapati. Grated Carrot subzi / Curry will be authentic if you use organic carrots (they have more taste, we haven’t used it in video; it’s not available here this week).
Procedure:
1. Clean and Grate Carrots.
2. Cut Onion length wise
3. Cut the Garlic and Green Chilly.
4. Put pan on flame
5. Add Mustard seeds and Cumin seeds, let them pop.
6. Add Curry Leaves and stir
7. Add Onion and Green Chilly and Sauté it.
8. Add pinch of Turmeric Powder
9. Add Salt to taste
10. Add some Chaat Masala (Note: You can skip onion and chat masala all together if you have tasty organic carrots)
11. Add Grated Carrots and stir
12. Cover with lid for 3 to 4 minutes on low flame.
13. Remove lid, now stir it on high flame for 30 Secs to remove extra moisture / water vapors from our Grated Carrot Sabzi / Curry
14. Stop the flame, let curry settle for a minute or two
15. Now add Yogurt (not mandatory, as per your taste) and mix well
16. Garnish with Coriander Leave and some grated coconut
17. And its Yummy and Ready
