Mrs. Sherwin reads the original "Fancy Nancy" book then recommends other books in the Fancy Nancy series for students to explore on their own, including the JoJo books for early readers. She also encourages students to use construction paper and sidewalk chalk to make their own homes a little fancy (Lesson 7).
