Running a Dapol Class 73 'Brighton Evening Argos' in Pullman livery with a rake of Farish Mk1 Pullman coaches and a GWR brake van.
I did some research on Pullman trains, particularly those that ran from Bournemouth to Waterloo. It seems that Southern Railway 'borrowed' a couple of GWR brake vans for their Pullman trains.
You can almost hear the words, 'Yep, the colours are close enough!' So Umber and Cream and Chocolate and Cream were united on some of these trains.
