Let's start with some details:
100% Textile
Imported
Man made sole
Shaft measures approximately low-top from arch
Light Wool and polyester material all around the foot
Megagrip Vibram Rubber
Machine Wash Cold / Air Dry

So if you are looking for the lightest shoes that you can find, these Vibram Five Fingers shoes are probably it. Personally, I am not a fan of the whole finger idea, but, oh well. These did make it on a few online lists like best barefoot shoes for running and best minimalist shoes.
