1893-S Morgan Dollar is a the rarest Morgan Dollar in high grades ever. There was a small mintage of only 100,000 coins and of that there is only an estimate to only have about 10,000 total examples in all grades available. That is not many coins considering all of the people looking to make a Morgan set, must have this coin. The price guides for a coin like this in straight graded AU50 = 22,500 and in AU55 = 43,500.
