An NHS doctor from Egypt who was funded by the UK government to train here in Birmingham has finally been reunited with her daughter after the Home Office overturned a decision to refuse her a visa.

Amany Abdelmeguid was told her daughter wouldn't be able to join her because her husband wasn't living in the UK at the time the visa application was made. She's now calling for a change in the law.
