Summary:
Let's call this shibi vibes part1. In truth, this is a weekend long segment of a 2 day fishing series. Can you believe it? The wife let me out 2 days in a row (albeit short sessions)!!! This was the start of a 3 shibi, 2 uku, and other fish and misadventures. This was the first attempt at using the CanFish Cam and somehow the wildlife already managed to damage it, haha. Pesky Sharks!!!! I hope you enjoy!

Rods: Shimano Grappler Type J (Bait), Shimano Trevala x2, Shimano Tavalera, Ugly Stick Tiger Lite)
Reels: Shimano Talica 25ii, Shimano SpeedMaster 25ii x2 ([ Ссылка ]), Penn Squall 50LD (aka “the lucky reel” in Hilo [ Ссылка ]), Shimano Stella SW 6000 (Bait Reel [ Ссылка ]), Penn Slammer IV 9500, Penn Spinfisher VI 8500 (Hilo Main Reels [ Ссылка ]), Shimano TwinPower 5000 (Hilo Bait Reel [ Ссылка ]).
Line and terminal tackle: 65-80 lb PowerPro ([ Ссылка ]), 40/50/60lb J-Line Fluorocarbon, 40-55lb AFW wire leader. Owner 4/0 & 5/0 circle hooks, Gamakatsu 6/0 & 5/0 live bait hooks (honestly, I found some cheaper Korean versions at J.Hara for 11cents a hook), Diablo or VMC 2/0 inline hooks for stinger when using wire (hifishgear.com BKK Lone Diablo Inline Hook — HiFishGear).
Damashi: Homemade using line between 12-16lb, typically J-Flouro Samurai. I typically tie my own flies. When using lures, I like Tylah lures or CHL Nox Minnows, both I set up with gold hooks and a red bead which I find to be very effective and highly recommend them.
