The health ministry is set to conduct an accelerated vaccination campaign in Kampala's metropolitan areas as part of efforts to meet the country’s vaccination target of 22 million people.
The accelerated campaign will be conducted in Kampala, Wakiso and Mukono between the 27th of September and the 3rd of October.
In the meantime, Resident District Commissioners and Resident City Commissioners are also drawing up plans to help ramp up vaccination in their areas of jurisdiction, following the President’s directive.
