The Full Frame Ricoh GR.. Probably the Best $500 I've Spent on Film Photography (GR1, GR1v, GR1s Review)
The 35mm Film Ricoh GR1 is a great alternative to the Fuji X100V, and probably the best $500 I've spent on film photography. This is the first version, the later versions include the GR1s and GR1v. While I normally use a Leica MP, this pocket camera is always there for me, especially in situations when the MP or the M6 is a little awkward. If you're considering the contax t3, contax t2, GR 10, or even the digital Ricoh GR iii or GR iiix, then this might be a great fit for you.
All the black and white pictures in this video were made on Ilford HP5, pushed 2 stops (HP5++) and Delta 3200, developed on Ilfotec HC on the AXLE CR1 Rotary Processor.
The other black and white film stocks I use are Delta 400 and FP4+. I use colour films as well, a few being Kodak portra 160, 400, 800, Color plus, Ultramax and Gold, Fujifilm PRO160NS and PRO400H.
If you love film photography too, join me on this analog journey here on Youtube. Thanks for watching!
