Reading and studying the art of Francis Bacon. Decided to do a self portrait in his style. This is as close as I came, this time anyway. Francis was able to see and paint distortion without the help of the technology we have today, such as Photoshop or Photobooth, and that makes him genius, in my eyes anyway.
I recently began reading, "Ham on Rye" by Charles Bukowski, any fans out there?
