The Siddhi dance from Gujarat is not authentic and seems to have borrowed heavily from the Rajashtani (Rabari or Kalbelia or neither?) tradition. One can feel the African pulse in the Sudanese origins of the Sidhi dance. The Siddhis wear peafowl feathers atop their heads. A white western woman adds to the cauldron of cultures.
