In 2018, Entertainment Weekly reunited 'Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure' stars Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter, along with writers Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon, about the 1989 time-hopping fantasy the finds two wannabe rockstars who go to great lengths to pass their history class.

“Teen comedy scripts, they never had any kind of depth to the language,” Winter recalls. “This one seemed to be such an assault on that,” adds Reeves. “How do you not laugh at ‘Beeth-Oven’ and ‘Noah’s wife’? ‘Non-heinous.’ That’s funny!”
