Plot Summary:
In the court hall Panchamrutha (Upendra) is the prime accused according to the police and he is standing before the judge (played by Lakshmi). Panchamrutha claims that he is a Mangalorean speaking the language in the accent of that region but the public prosecutor (Siddaraj Kalyankar) places the cases one after the other. In all the cases Panchamrutha says he is not the one who the PP is talking about even though the four ditched women say he is the one cheated. That is the brilliance of Panchamrutha. He is not ready to accept his brother in the court hall and all clues generated go useless. He is such a clever conman with a purpose. He is not after lust or lavish property of all the greedy women he picks up. He wants to teach the woman who are in false prestige

Upendra Rao was born on 18 September 1968 in Kundapura, Udupi district in the erstwhile Mysore State (now Karnataka), to Manjunatha Rao and Anusuya. He was the second son to his parents, his older brother being Sudheendra Rao. Rao was born to a poor family whose father struggled to make ends meet for his family. As a baby, he suffered from an eye problem, the result of which could be seen in his ability of rolling his eyeballs, which were seen in sequences of many of his films. He obtained his Bachelor of Commercedegree from APS College of Commerce, Bangalore. During his time at the college, he participated in plays often forming troupes with his friends. His association with actor and director, Kashinath, who happened to be a distant relative of his, began during his final year in college,who would play an important role in his film career.
