Xperia line used to produce one of the most eye catching designs. Now they are becoming like other flagship producers like HTC, LG, Blackberry, Nokia, Microsoft Windows Phone, HP and many more. If they want to compete with Xiaomi, Samsung, Apple, Google and other android manufacturers, they need to strategize a bit differently.
Their latest flagship Sony Xperia 1 Mark III is only geared towards professional with an absurd price tag and offers nothing special to majority of the users. I used to own Sony Xperia Z5 Compact and it was the best. They can still tap into some market share of users who prefer one handed operations and prefer smaller phones
