We had Business Class seats in Thai Airlines Upper Deck for the first flight from Hong Kong to Bangkok, my favorite place to fly because it's quieter, and cozier. The seats were almost identical to those on the previous United Airlines flight from Chicago to Hong Kong with the only difference being that the seats don't fully turn into flat bed seats.

Scoring Business Class seats is all about seats that convert into flat beds; the only reason I can see for making a big deal and exhausted already, this was a disappointment since all we wanted to do was sleep by now. After eating for 14 hours on the flight to Hong Kong and then stuffing ourselves in the Thai Royal Orchid Club, neither of us cared to eat.

And less than three hours later, we touched down in Bangkok and found reclining seats in transit to wait for our next flight to Phnom Penh, seven hours later. Arghh... will the day (ahem, days) ever be over?
