Addressing a virtual webinar on the Production Linked Incentives scheme, Modi asserted that the Union Budget and the country's policy-making shouldn't just be restricted to a govt process. While interacting with industry leaders, he reiterated the importance of the PLI in giving the much-needed manufacturing boost to the Indian economy. He also laid emphasis on the government’s oft-repeated "minimum government, maximum governance" mantra encouraging investment and assuring minimum compliance burden for corporates to boost manufacturing in different sectors.
