My Friend Chris and his first sail of his newly acquired Scruffie Shimmy 12 "EERWIGO" This boat was purchased from a gent who had it stored in a shed for a number of years it was left at the property he purchased so we don't know the history of the boat, So if you recognise it we would love to know some history mostly when it was built and who built it.
We decided to Sail on Lake Wivenhoe due to there being no tidal currents to contend with as Scruffies are known to be difficult to tack and sail up wind.
Wind was 10knots to 20knot gusts.
