What does it say about the UK as a nation and the future of the Refugee Convention in the UK?
This event is an opportunity to discuss the UK Government’s plans for reforming the asylum system and what this means for Scotland’s approach to the integration of migrants and asylum seekers, an issue on which the RSE recently submitted a response to the proposed Government plans. Members of the RSE’s asylum working group will unpack and stimulate discussion on the future of asylum policy and bring together wide-ranging expertise and practitioner experience, including those with lived experiences of asylum, as well as the public.
