In this episode I had out on a spur of the moment trip aboard our 28' Freeman. We grabbed the NickStick's (and some other rods) and a pile of slow pitch jigs. We ran offshore for 45 minutes and on the very first drop hooked up! It wound up being the target species and was a beautiful queen snapper! We fished a few more hours and caught a couple jacks before heading back to Bud n' Mary's Marina. Back at the marina I clean the fish and take it to PR Cafe to have it cooked up! They make a delicious fish sandwich as well as a couple basket of friend fish nuggies!
