Toys and collectibles like Funko POP! are a great way to cherish your favourite movie, gaming, and comic book characters. But how hard is it to recycle PVC toys like these? Turns out, it's quite a challenge. Last year Funko “eliminated” $30 million worth of their own unsold merch. Did they recycle any of it? We emailed to ask but haven’t received a reply. So are these collectibles doomed to end up in a landfill? We try and call local waste management and recycling companies to see if any would accept our Hermione Funko from the Harry Potter franchise.
