We went to see the fishing boats in Viareggio where, early in the morning, people from Viareggio (and beyond) turn up to buy fresh fish.

Then we went to Bagno Elisabetta, a typical Italian Bagno, a beach club resort to buy an umbrella for our garden. There we met Eleonora, the owner, and Alessandro, the lifeguard who will tell you what an Italian Bagno is. Alessandro spent many years of his life in Chicago and speaks perfect English.
