The much-awaited cabinet expansion covered 9 MLAs each from BJP & Shinde-led Shiv Sena faction. Meanwhile, Bandra (West) MLA Ashish Shelar's exclusion from the cabinet raised eyebrows. However, BJP reportedly suggests it is a part of a plan by the new govt to take on Uddhav-led Sena in its strongholds.
