This is a Beginners guide to multimeters. Where possible I've tried to keep jargon to a minimum, hence wiggly line instead of sine wave (I don't mean to patronise mind you). Hopefully this will give you a little incite into this very valuable devices. Can be very useful for non technical people for home use.
Even if it makes a repairers job easy if you can provide better information on a fault.
