William Blake is a seminal figure in the English romantic poetry movement.
Blake's poem, The Tyger, was published in 1794 as part of his Songs of Experience collection. The Tyger is a creature whose existence lead's Blake to question the very nature and morality of existence.
In The Tyger by William Blake, the narrator questions the nature of god wondering how a benevolent creator could make a creature so dangerous.
