I’m fortunate in that I am easy walking distance of the SW main line in Poole so for my daily exercise I wandered in the rain to Baiter Park by the Harbour.
I was rewarded with a classic thrash of Rail Operations Group 47 815 powering up Parkstone Bank with a ‘Plastic Pig’ bound for Wolverton. It really brought back memories of when Brush hauled Cross Country services were seen hourly - the 13 coach ‘Dorset Scot’ in particular always struggling at this point on a wet rail...
The walk back was via Poole Park with some cute and inquisitive additions to the wildlife:-))
Thanks NHS and keep safe everyone.
