Many people know Wolverhampton as the home of 70's Glam Rock stars Slade and Wolves centre-forward Derek "The Doog" Dougan, but in 1999, the Midlands and especially Wolverhampton was a mecca for clubbing. The legend that is Charlie Chester invited us to visit this larger than life venue and what a time we had, staying at an old Coaching Inn just outside of town, with its low beamed ceilings and coal fires it was a world away from the madness of the club we were about to enter.
This episode first hit the screens on Friday 10th December 1999, presented by Samantha Mann, and featured promoter Charlie Chester, we pumped up the volume with CJ Mackintosh and chatted all things clubland with Terry Farley ! And of course loads of you lot! Enjoy peeps 😉
