This an old 1970s Express lift. This is (*was) one of the last DMR control systems left in the country.
*THIS EQUIPMENT HAS NOW BEEN RIPPED OUT - such a shame! :(

Check out the level display in the lift car. There is a light bulb 'per floor' behind the panel, which projects a number through a lens onto the front display window. I've seen something similar to this in the "Otis Saudi Linen lift" video.
More on the controller and "dispatcher" that decides 'which lift goes to which level' on the next video. This is pure 'relay logic'.
Most of this was made in the Express Lifts manufacturing offices in Northampton before it was closed.
